Your questions, answered.

Can't find your answer? Reach out, we're happy to help.

  • Don't wait until it expires. If you're already in Canada, you may be able to extend your status or apply for a new permit. The sooner you act, the more options you have.

  • You can book a consultation through our Calendly link. Toni reviews your situation, explains your options, and gives you a clear picture of next steps and costs.

  • In many cases, yes. If you apply before your current status expires, you may be covered by implied status. We make sure you apply correctly so there are no gaps.

  • A refusal is not the end of the road. We review the letter, identify the reasons, and advise on whether to reapply, request reconsideration, or pursue judicial review.

  • You're allowed to apply on your own, but immigration applications are complex and a single mistake can mean months of delay or an outright refusal. Working with a licensed lawyer means your case is done right the first time.

  • Express Entry is a points-based system for skilled workers applying for permanent residence. You're ranked by age, education, work experience, and language ability through the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The highest-scoring candidates get invited to apply. We help you maximize your score and navigate the process strategically.

  • It depends on the program. Express Entry typically takes about six months after receiving an Invitation to Apply. Spousal sponsorship can take 12 months or longer. We set realistic expectations upfront and keep you updated throughout so there are no surprises.

You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone
